James Perry is a actor, writer, and sketch comedian. During college at Brigham Young University, he joined the sketch comedy troupe, Divine Comedy. He was with ‘’Studio C’’ from the beginning, first as an engineer, until he became a regular on ‘’Studio C’’. As of December 2018, the Studio C YouTube channel had more than 2 million subscribers.
In August 2018, Perry and fellow original cast members announced they would finish the ninth season of Studio C then move on to a new digital media network called JK! Studios.
He is the author of I Still Want to Be an Astronaut: Living Your Dream When You Dream Too Much.
James was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from BYU in 2013.
He and his wife, Breanna, live in Utah. He is a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a full-time missionary in Italy.
