Taylor G. Godoy was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. He was serving in the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy at the time of his call. He has served as a full-time missionary, bishop, stake president, high councilor, Area Seventy, and area public affairs director.
He was born on July 10, 1968, in Lima, Peru. He earned his bachelor’s degree in dentistry from the Catholic University of Santa Maria and later a master’s degree in administration from the Technical University of Madrid. He was first a dentist in private practice and then was an Institute coordinator, teacher, director, country director, and area director in the Church Educational System.
Godoy and his wife, Carol, are the parents of two children.
