David A. Koch is a color impressionist painter of religious and western American art that includes figures, still lifes, and landscapes. He holds a bachelor’s degree in illustration from Utah State University.
Koch’s religious and historic pioneer paintings are found in temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Church Art Museum collection, the Utah State Capitol, and numerous private and corporate collections. Former Utah governor Michael Leavitt commissioned Koch for a painting that was part of the gubernatorial inauguration. He has a studio and gallery in Logan.
