Ron Richmond is a professional artist who uses symbolism in both his subject matter and in form. He prefers to explore the relationship of opposites, “light and darkness, the living and the decaying, order and chaos, sin and redemption, the ethereal and the concrete.”[1]
His work is collected by museums, corporations, and in private. Richmond has exhibited his paintings in galleries and museums in major cities throughout the United States.
Richmond was born in Denver, Colorado, and earned both his Bachelor of Fine Art and his Master of Fine Art degrees from Brigham Young University. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, with his family.
