The London England Temple was the first (dedicated in 1958), followed by the Preston England Temple (dedicated in 1998).
Missionaries were sent to England in 1837, only seven years after The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was established. England is home to the oldest continuous congregation of the Church.
