Aaron, a son of King Mosiah, is noteworthy in the Book of Mormon for these reasons:

  • As a friend of Alma the Younger, he and his brothers persecuted the Church of God until an angel intervened.
  • Once converted, he turned down the throne of his father in order to dedicate his life to preaching the gospel among the Lamanites. He taught the Lamanite king, who was converted and the Church of God was established among the Lamanite people.

His compelling story can be found in Mosiah 27 through [https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/29?lang=eng Mosiah 29; Alma 21 through Alma 25.
