Chris McChesney

Christopher N. McChesney is a best-selling author, leadership consultant, and executive advisor and speaker. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He has worked for the FranklinCovey company for many years. He was publicist for Stephen Covey after the publication of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and while it journeyed to the top slot of the New York Times Bestseller list. He is currently the Global Practice Leader of Execution for FranklinCovey.

McChesney was also co-managing director of the FranklinCovey southeast region. While filling this assignment, he was one of the primary developers of the 4 Disciplines of Execution and has led FranklinCovey on those principles. He has also led implementation of the 4 Disciplines with companies such as Ritz Carlton, Kroger, Coca Cola, Comcast, Lockheed Martin, Marriott International, and the State of Georgia. His book (with Sean Covey and Jim Huling), The 4 Disciplines of Execution, placed #1 on the Wall Street Journal Bestseller list.

McChesney studied at Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Constance, are the parents of seven children.
