Truman Mormon rock band

Truman is a pop/rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee, that consists of Ben and Chad Truman, sons of country music star Dan Truman. The duo formed in 2005 after Ben returned from serving an LDS mission in Mexico. The band won the student-voted “Battle of the Bands” two years in a row at Brigham Young University. Ben continued to write songs while Chad served a mission. Ben and Chad are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ben graduated from Brigham Young University in finance. Chad is studying media music at BYU.

Their first CD “Hold on to Love” released in 2009. They have been performing at colleges and universities all over the United States and sharing the stage with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, David Archuleta, Diamond Rio, and Josh Kelley. They perform with The Nashville Tribute Band.
