Sandy Freckleton Gagon is a classical realist painter and has a passion for religious figurative painting. She also teaches figure drawing, drawing, and oil painting classes. She has been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in graphic design and illustration from the University of Utah. Her work has been exhibited numerous times and has been featured or reviewed in various magazines.

Her work has won awards such as the Spring Salon, Springville Museum of Art April 2002, Merit Award; International Artist Magazine, International Artist Challenge No. 5 2013 Honorable Mention in Still Portrait Society of America, Members Only Competition, 2010, Merit Award Salon International 2011, San Antonio, TX, Merit Award; Springville Museum of Art, 87th Annual Spring Salon, Third Place Award.

She and her husband, Dave, have three children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
