Rex C. Reeve was a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sustained a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy on April 1, 1978, and was among one of the first to receive emeritus status because of factors of age and health. At the time of his calling he was presiding over the California Anaheim Mission. He had also served as a regional representative of the Twelve.

Reeve was born on November 23, 1914, in Hinckley, Utah. He grew up during the Great Depression. He had a newspaper route and drove a hay wagon during his childhood and youth.

He married Phyllis Mae Nielsen on February 19, 1937, and they had seven children. He worked with Meadow Gold Dairy (originally Arden Sunfreeze Creameries) for 40 years. He served on the Greater Salt Lake Boy Scout Council and received the Silver Beaver Award.

Reeve passed away on July 18, 2005.
