Jamielyn Nye is a social media influencer and has created a recipe blog I Heart Naptime. She has also created a cookbook, The I Heart Naptime Cookbook, for chefs in a hurry. Her fans follow her on Instagram, where she has 102,000 followers, as well as Pinterest and Facebook.

She also shares DIY crafts and tutorials to “help families create unforgettable moments.”[1] Her recipes and crafts have been featured online on the Food Network, Oprah Magazine, Real Simple, Country Living, Today, Yahoo, Buzz Feed, Fox News, and other media outlets.

She and her husband, who is a physician, have four children and live in California. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She sees food as a powerful tool for bringing families together.

Nye took a break from social media after Church leaders encouraged a social media fast. She came back with fewer followers but also “encouraging messages from a number of those who had stuck around. ‘They were like, “I’m so grateful to know your faith is that important to you.”’”
