Carol B. Thomas

Carol Ann Burdett Thomas is a former First and Second Counselor in the Young Women general presidency. She was sustained in October 1997 as the First Counselor to Young Women general president Margaret D. Nadauld; she had been serving as Second Counselor to Young Women general president Janette C. Hales Beckham at the time of this call. She had served previously as a member of the Relief Society general board, helping with the worldwide celebration of the Relief Society sesquicentennial celebration.

Thomas was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 6, 1942. She is married to David Ray Thomas and they are the parents of seven children. She served with him while he presided over the Baguio Philippines mission from 2003 to 2006.
