The missionary program for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints consists of more than 56,000 LDS men and women throughout 330 organized missions.

Missionary Training Centers or MTC
Before leaving on a mission, each missionary attends one of 17 Missionary Training Centers throughout the world to learn languages
