Carl Bert Cook is a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] and member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. He was sustained on April 2, 2011, and had been serving as a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy at the time of his call.

He was born on October 15, 1957, in Ogden, Utah, and grew up in Plain City, Utah, raised by his mother. He served as a full-time missionary in Hamburg, Germany. He has also served as bishop, stake president, president of the New Zealand Auckland Mission (2005–2008), and Area Seventy.

Cook earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Weber State College and his MBA from Utah State University. He began his career with the Xerox Corporation and then moved into commercial real estate development as a partner with The Boyer Company.

Cook and his wife, Lynette, are the parents of five children.
