Timothy J. Dyches
Timothy John Dyches is a surgeon and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dyches was born in Murray, Utah, on January 15, 1951. His family moved to Elko, Nevada, when he was thirteen. He earned a bachelor’s degree in university studies from Brigham Young University. He received his medical doctor degree and specialty training at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, Missouri. He was an ear, nose, and throat surgeon for over twenty years. In 2012, he was appointed vice president of operational development at Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.
Dyches was sustained a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ in April 2013. He has served in numerous other Church positions, such as Sunday School president, stake high councilor, stake president’s counselor, stake president, temple ordinance worker, stake mission president’s counselor, Area Seventy, and deacons quorum adviser. He served a full-time mission in the Germany South Mission and presided over the Oregon Portland Mission.
He and his wife, Jill Elizabeth Dudley, are the parents of three children.
