Corbin Michael Allred (born May 25 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an LDS actor, most notably as starring in the 2003 award-winning motion picture Saints and Soldiers, and the 1997-1998 television series “Teen Angel". He was also in Quest of the Delta Knights and known for his "Home Alone" scream in Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He has also appeared in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “CSI: Miami,” “ER,” “The Division,” “Judging Amy,” “Dharma and Greg,” “Boston Public,” “State of Grace,” “7th Heaven,” “JAG,” “Navy NCIS,” and “Threat Matrix.”

Allred has never taken acting classes and has never been coached. He began acting when he was twelve years old after attending an open casting call in Utah.

From the age of twelve, he spent a month each winter in Los Angeles for the television pilot season and also the summer for the movie audition season. He lived in an apartment with his mother during the winter and the rest of the family would join them for the summer. The family made life as normal as possible for him, including attending church every Sunday.

Allred appeared in movies such as Diamonds with Kirk Douglas and Dan Aykroyd, and Anywhere but Here with Natalie Portman and Susan Sarandon. He always had the goal to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ, despite criticism from Hollywood for leaving at the height of a successful career.

He opened his mission call on the set of Diamonds. Most of the cast and crew thought he was crazy to abandon his career, but a few days later, Kirk Douglas, called Allred at his home in Utah and told him, “I know you've gotten a lot of flak for your decision, but it was the right decision, and God will bless you.”[1] Douglas wrote to Allred during his mission. A week after finishing the shooting of Diamonds, Allred entered the Missionary Training Center to serve his two-year mission to Australia.

Since returning from his mission, Allred trained as an EMT and owns and operates a private paramedic service. He is a 911 rescue paramedic, an EMT/paramedic, and tactical medicine instructor. He lives in Beaverton, Oregon, where he is studying to become a physician assistant.

His interests are diverse. He appeared in Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed in 2012 and The Saratov Approach in 2013. He has worked with his older brother, Jason, who is a filmmaker and director. Allred continues to carefully select the parts he will play and has turned down roles because of sexual content or foul language. When his schedule allows, he travels with an improv comedy troupe The Society. He is an accomplished folk singer and songwriter and has performed all over the country. He is an avid climber and teaches climbing classes.

Allred married McKenzie Marshall in 2005 and they are the parents of three children.
