Carri Phippen Jenkins is the assistant to the president for University Communications at Brigham Young University, making her the spokesperson for the university. She also directs the university’s communications offices.

Jenkins holds bachelor’s and master's degrees in communications from BYU. Also with the university, she was the director of Media Communications, associate editor of BYU Magazine, a university speechwriter, and a publicity director. She also has been an instructor in the BYU Communications Department.

In 2007, she was presented the Ben E. Lewis Management Award. Jenkins is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and has received the Communicator of the Year Award from her local chapter. She is an advocate for women and education and has served as president of Utah Women in Higher Education.

She is a native of Utah and lives in Utah County with her husband and children.
