Daniel Heywood is a book artist, photographer, videographer, writer, and co-owner and co-founder of Badger and Chirp where he and his wife Karleigh sell handmade books and provide tips, tutorials, and book-related information. He teaches bookbinding workshops and works on various projects, including one-of-a-kind furniture for their home. He was a 2008 Adobe Design Achievement Awards semifinalist.

Heywood is a member of the Guild of Book Workers. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
