Heather Dixon Wallwork

Heather Dixon Wallwork is a storyboard artist, storyteller, and the author of novels Entwined, Illusionarium, and The Enchanted Sonata, the latter she also designed the cover).

Heather attended Weber State University majoring in flute performance, but when Brigham Young University began their animation program, she applied and transferred. While at BYU, she wrote her first novel. After graduation, she worked as a story lead for Disney Interactive and contributed to movies such as Monsters University and Moana and wrote for characters including Anna and Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen. Her husband, Brent, honored her love of Disney when he proposed to her at Disneyland in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Now in addition to writing, she freelances for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she is a member. She created the storyboard for the animated children’s video “A Mother’s Hope,” which is the story Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf told about his mother losing her children at a train station during World War II. She was the assistant director for “The Coat,” a story from the childhood of past church president Heber J. Grant.
