Joyce DiPastena: Mormon Author

Joyce DiPastena is the author of medieval romance novels, including Loyalty’s Web, Illuminations of the Heart, Dangerous Favor, Loving Lucianna, Courting Cassandry, and The Lady and the Minstrel. She penned two Christmas short stories, "A Candelight Courting" and "An Epiphany Gift for Robin". She contributed a short story, “Caroles on the Green,” to A Timeless Romance. Her single nonfiction book is entitled Name Your Medieval Character: Medieval Christian Names (12th–13th Centuries).

DiPastena has long been interested in medieval times and earned her bachelor’s degree in history with an emphasis in the Middle Ages from the University of Arizona. She regularly attends the Arizona Renaissance Festival.

She was raised in Kearny, Arizona, and makes her home in Mesa. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
