Trudy Harris Mormon Author

Trudy Harris is a children’s book author and retired kindergarten teacher. She also teaches children’s literature at Brigham Young University–Idaho. Her books are intended for both classroom and home use.

Her book titles include 100 Days of School, which is held in over 700 libraries; Pattern Fish; Pattern Bugs; The Clock Struck One; Tally Cat Keeps Track; Wow It’s a Cow!; Over, Under, In, and Ouch!; Say Something, Perico; Jenny Found a Penny; The Royal Treasure Measure; and Up Bear, Down Bear. She wrote Gaining the Fulness: The Spirit-Filled Path to Exaltation with her husband, Jay. Her son, Andrew N. Harris, has illustrated numerous picture books (including her books Tally Cat Keeps Track and 20 Hungry Piggies: A Number Book) and her daughter, Holly Worthington, is also a writer.
