In his closing remarks at the 193rd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct a temple in San Jose California Temple.

The San Jose California Temple will be the 11th temple built in the state. San Jose, the third-largest city in California, is located south of the San Francisco Bay area. Other temples in the state include the Bakersfield, Feather River, Fresno, Los Angeles, Modesto, Newport Beach, Oakland, Redlands, Sacramento, San Diego and Yorba Linda California Temples.[1]
