Temple

The Lord has instructed his people to build temples since ancient times. There was the Tabernacle of the Israelites, Solomon's Temple, and the Temple of Herod. In more recent times, we had the Kirtland, Nauvoo, St. George, and Salt Lake temples. Today (March 2007), lds.org reports that there are 124 temples in operation.
