Amos is a prophet briefly mentioned in the Book of Mormon. He was charged to take over the plates of his father Amos before his death in 194 A.D. In his time, he witnessed the Nephites' return to wickedness and the Gadianton robbers' rise in power. Prior to his death, he turned the record over to his brother Ammaron.[1]
