The "First Presidency" of the Mormon Church refers to the Church's president, or Prophet, and his two main counselors. These three men work closely with twelve apostles to direct God's work on the earth. Mormons look to the First Presidency and the Apostles as members of Christ's Church did anciently. The First Presidency and the Apostles recieve revelation and directions from God to guide people into the paths that will return them to live with Him.
