The "First Presidency" of the Mormon Church refers to the Church's president, or Prophet, and his two main counselors. These three men work closely with twelve apostles to direct God's work on the earth. Mormons look to the First Presidency and the Apostles as members of Christ's Church did anciently. The First Presidency and the Apostles recieve revelation and direction from God to guide people into His paths so that one day they will return them to live with Him.
