Arnulfo Valenzuela
Elder Arnulfo Valenzuela is a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose members are often called Mormons.
He received this calling in April, 2013. Until that call, he was serving in the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy in México.
He was born in Chihuahua, México, and is married to Silvia Pilar De Porras. They have three children and live in Querétaro, México. Mormons do not train for the ministry as a professional career and leaders are chosen from ordinary members of the Church, serving as volunteers. He has been employed by Durman Co. as the National Marketing Director and in the past, worked for Honeywell México. Elder Valenzuela has a bachelor’s degree in Administration from the University of Accounting and Administrative Studies in México City and a master’s degree in business administration degree from the American Institute of Business.
His church service ranges from having served a voluntary Mormon mission in Veracruz, México, to serving as a bishop (lay pastor of a congregation), and serving as a counselor to stake (diocese) presidents and mission presidents.
