Madilyn Paige: Mormon Singer
Madilyn Paige is a teenage singer and songwriter who made it into the final top twenty contestants on NBC’s The Voice, season six. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had an opportunity to stand up for her values and beliefs.
Paige is from Provo, Utah. She lived in Japan as a child and started singing when she returned with her family to the United States. Up until her performance on The Voice, she performed only in local competitions. She has a small following on her YouTube page. As a result of her international attention, she signed with Highway Records and released her first single, “Irreplaceable.” She will release her first CD in early 2015.
Since her elimination from The Voice, she participated in the Made in Utah Music Foundation August concert, which was a tribute to the Beatles.
