I took a class from Dr. Cowan during my studies at BYU, 1965-'69. He was an amazing teacher. He would lecture seamlessly while fingering his notes written in braille. One day, he uncharacteristically stumbled over his words. It kept getting worse, until he dropped his hands in frustration and exclaimed, "OK, who sat on my notes?"Gboyd (talk)
