Sarah Dunster Mormon Author

Sarah Dunster is an award-winning poet and novelist. Her poems have been published in Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, Segullah magazine, Sunstone magazine, and Victorian Violet Press. She also publishes with online LDS poetry blog "Wilderness Interface Zone." She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Her novel Lightning Tree was published in 2012 and Mile 21 was published the following year and won a Whitney Award for Best General Novel. She has a sequel to Lightning Tree pending publication. She has published a short story, “Back North,” in Segullah magazine and has contributed to multi authored Fire in the Pasture: 21st Century Mormon Poets.

Dunster was born in Santa Cruz, California, and is the mother of seven children.
