Cheri Maude creates collectible dolls for all ages that include storybooks about seven orphan girls named Louisa, Kathryn, Meg, April, Suzannah, Johannah, and Emmaline, and a grandmother named Grandma Sunday. She designed her Ginger Brook Hollow line to be played with rather than to be admired on a shelf. Sculptor Erasmo Fuentes sculpts the faces of her dolls that are then produced in hand-painted vinyl.
Her experience as a collector-division expert for a doll company as well as a teacher, mother, and author influenced her creation of the line.
Maude is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives in Alpine, Utah.
