Danna Smith Mormon Author

Danna Smith is an award-winning children’s book author. Her titles include Two at the Zoo: A Counting Book, Pirate Nap: A Book of Colors, Balloon Trees, Mother Goose’s Pajama Party, Arctic White, Swallow the Leader, A Brave Spaceboy, A Wild Cowboy, and the forthcoming The Hawk of the Castle.

She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she loved to play with words. Her father trained, bred, and rehabilitated animals and her love of animals and nature are evident in her writing.

Smith and her husband live in Northern California. They have two grown children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
