Sally Flynn Hart

Sally Flynn Hart is a singer most recognized as part of the Lawrence Welk show. She and singing partner Sandi Griffiths auditioned for the show when Welk was looking for replacement for the departing Lennon Sisters.

Sally was born on July 23, 1946, in Ontario, Oregon. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While at Brigham Young University, she met Sandi and the two became a duet with Janie Thompson’s university Program Bureau entertainment group. The two also performed at Disneyland, were part of a USO tour through Vietnam, and sang back up for Jack Jones.

Sally stayed with the Lawrence Welk show until 1972 when she left to pursue a career as a soloist and a dancer on Broadway. She married Clay Hart, the Welk’s show country singer. They performed as opening acts for such performers as Red Skelton, The Statler Brothers, and Barbara Mandrell.

She and Hart hosted their own show on The Nashville Network called "Remodeling & Decorating Today". They have also appeared on segments of reruns of the Welk Show on PBS and have toured with the Forever Bubbles concert series.

Sally sings frequently with the Melbourne Swingtime Band in Florida.
