Larry Correia Mormon Author

Larry Coreia is the New York Times bestselling author of the Monster Hunter International series. He is the author of the Grimnoir Chronicles trilogy and the Dead Six military thrillers. He is also the author of the Iron Kingdoms ebook/audiobooks, and the Saga of the Forgotten Warrior.

After numerous rejections, he self-published his first book, Monster Hunter International. When it became an Entertainment Weekly bestseller, he was offered his first publishing contract. The second and third volumes in the series became New York Times bestsellers.

Correia grew up in California on a dairy farm until his father moved the family to Utah. Correia joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1994, served a full-time mission to Alabama, and married his wife, Bridget, while he was studying at Utah State University. They are the parents of four children.

He was an accountant, concealed carry permit instructor, military contractor, and part-owner of a gun store and shooting range. He began writing full time in 2013.
