Travis Anderson

Travis Anderson is a philosophy professor at Brigham Young University. He also paints landscapes as a favorite pastime. He was raised in San Jose, California, and earned both a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art. He earned his master’s and doctorate degrees from Loyola University.

In addition to painting in his spare time, he uses his background in art to teach “Illustrated Journaling” at BYU. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Diane, live with their family in Utah.
