Dallas N. Archibald was a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Second Quorum of Seventy from 1992 to 1996 when he was transferred to the First Quorum of the Seventy. He served in that quorum until his accidental death on December 14, 1998, in Chile. He was serving as president of the Chile Area at the time.

He was born on July 24, 1938, in Logan, Utah, and grew up in Ogden. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish literature from Weber State University and a master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird-American Graduate School. He worked for two years in Japan and the Philippines as a representative for Hallmark greeting cards. He then worked for an industrial chemical company as a sales and marketing director throughout the United States, Canada, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil.

Archibald and his wife, Linda, were the parents of one daughter. He served in various Church callings, such as bishop, stake president, regional representative, a leader in the Young Men organization, and a full-time missionary. He presided over the Spain Seville Mission from 1979 to 1982. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1961 to 1965.
