Curtis Magleby is a long-time employee of the Ford Motor Company. As Vice President of US Government Relations, he currently serves as Ford’s chief lobbyist in Washington, DC.

Magleby earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and his Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. He came to Ford in 1988 as a financial analyst for the automaker’s electronic division. He previously had been with Exxon as a petroleum engineer. He has worked on a range of local and state policy issues as Ford’s director of government affairs. He also worked at the company’s manufacturing operations in Mexico, Malaysia, and Singapore.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
