Lance Richardson: Mormon Author

Lance M. Richardson was the author of The Message, which was about his experiences in the spirit world after an accident that left him in a comatose state for several weeks. He also coauthored Zion—Seeking the City of Enoch, Zion—The Long Road to Sanctification, Masquerading as Angels, and Knotted Gold. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was born on June 21, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He attended Ricks College and served as a full-time missionary in Helsinki, Finland.

In his professional life, he was co-host for the national radio show, “Probing America,” and a local talk show, “Probing the West.” He served as president of American Family Institute and was a public speaker in seminars and conferences on family issues, emergency preparedness, liberty in America, and service. He chaired the “Holli Fund,” which benefitted individuals with catastrophic health problems. He also sponsored the “Eagles Dare” youth program. He also coached football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and swimming. He was a singer and composer and won awards for his music.

Richardson and his wife, Jozet, were the parents of seven children. He died on March 24, 2004.
