Karen Hoover Mormon Author

Karen Hoover is a writer and poet. She is the author of The Sapphire Flute, The Armor of Light, and The Emerald Wolf, all part of the Wolfchild Saga. She also penned Two Souls Are Better Than One, And the Mountain Burns, and Fractured.

She was born in Gardena, California, on November 7, 1970. Her father passed away when she was four years old and she and her mother and her little brother moved to Washington State. When she was eight they moved to Oklahoma. They briefly lived in Roosevelt, Utah, and later Bountiful, Utah.

She married after serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband fostered three sons, two of which they were able to adopt.
