Daron D. Fraley is a speculative fiction writer and the author of The Thorn, a fantasy novel, and Water, a religious sci-fi novel. He is also author of Thirty-Six, the first volume in the Thirty-Six series.

Fraley was born in Powell, Wyoming. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in the Rocky Mountains with their six children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
