While Super Saturday can mean a busy day of shopping for retailers on the last Saturday before Christmas, it means something different to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To Latter-day Saint women in particular, a Super Saturday means a Relief Society activity where women can come together to make crafts projects and enjoy refreshments or a potluck lunch. Sometimes a Super Saturday offers service projects. The event can last several hours on a Saturday morning, but usually women can come and go as their schedule allows.
