S. Mark Palmer is a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sustained on April 2, 2016, at General Conference. He was serving in the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy at the time of his call.

During April 2021 General Conference, he was called and sustained to serve in the Presidency of the Seventy effective August 1, 2021.

Palmer was born on February 11, 1956, in Te Puke, New Zealand. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. He is the founder and president of SMP Ventures, a real estate development company in Texas.

He and his wife, Jacqueline, are the parents of six children. Palmer has served in various positions in the Church, including elders quorum president, high priests group leader, bishop, stake president, and Area Seventy. He presided over the Washington Spokane Mission. He served as interim president of the Australia Sydney South Mission. He served a full-time mission in the New Zealand Wellington Mission.
