Daniel Beck is a well-trained singer who specializes in stage production. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes called the Mormon Church.

Dan began by playing Rolfe in The Sound of Music with his brother, Mattney, as Baron von Trapp. Daniel sang along with sound tracks from Broadway musicals and tried mimicing various styles and voices, thereby improving his versatility and range.

While working and attending college, Dan performed in Oklahoma, 1776, Carousel, Annie, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Dan's talents attracted the attention of the producers of the “Liken the Scriptures” series, LDS DVD’s for children from Lightstone Studios. Dan played King Lamoni in “Ammon and Lamoni", King Saul in “David and Goliath", the Angel Gabriel in “The First Christmas", and Rex, king of the lions, in “Daniel and the Lions". He was the associate director “Esther and the King”.

Dan met Latter-day Saint composer, producer and performer, Kenneth Cope while performing in "The Scarlet Pimpernel". They immediately became fast friends. Dan has recorded with Kenneth, including his portrayal of John the Beloved in Cope’s “Son of Man” project. Dan recorded a couple of songs for the Especially for Youth 2007 album, “Power in Purity.”

Daniel's first solo album, "Love Like That," was released in November, 2008. He knows what he's talking about, since he married Amy, the love of his life, and started a family.
