Adam Miller Mormon Author

Adam S. Miller is a professor of philosophy as well as Honors Institute Director at Collin College in McKinney, Texas.

Miller is the author of several books, including Rube Goldberg Machines: Essays in Mormon Theology; Speculative Grace; Letters to a Young Mormon; The Gospel According to David Foster Wallace; Future Mormon; and Grace Is Not God’s Backup Plan. He co-edited Groundwork: Studies in Theory and Scripture (with Joseph Spencer).

He earned a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from Brigham Young University and both MA and a PhD in philosophy from Villanova University.

He and his wife, Gwen, are the parents of three children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
