Dennis Lyman
Dennis Lyman is an author, producer, cinematographer, and videographer. He has worked on such projects as four ninety-minute documentaries on early pioneer temples of Utah (A Temple Dressed in White: St. George; History at Temple Hill: Manti; For This People: The Salt Lake Temple; and The House of the Lord: Cache Valley and the Logan Temple) and was the producer and videographer of the History of the Saints television documentary series that spanned seven seasons. He helped produce Tongue Nor Pen Can Tell the Sorrow, shown at the Devil's Gate and Martin's Cove visitors center and was involved in filming the interviews, images, and documents for the Joseph Smith Papers television series. He worked with Wilford Brimley to produce the seven-part series Utah Remembers.
He has collaborated with Glenn Rawson and Bryant Bush on the History of the Saints series, which also became audiobooks.
Lyman is a native of Salt Lake City and worked for KJZZ in Salt Lake City for twenty years. He is a direct descendant of Amasa M. Lyman, an early Church member who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
