Jacob Gowans: Mormon Author

Jacob Gowans is a dentist practicing in Texas and is the author of several novels. Psion Beta was his first, which became the anchor to his Psion series (Psion Gamma, Psion Delta, Psion Alpha, and Psion Omega). He also penned A Tale of Light and Shadow and its prequel, Fool and the Dragonox. He is authoring a new series, Super Six.

Gowans was raised in Papillion, Nebraska, and earned his bachelor’s degree in theater studies from Brigham Young University. He earned his dental degree at Case Western Reserve University. He and his wife are the parents of five children. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
