James J. Orgill is the creative mind behind YouTube's The Action Lab, which boasts over 1.2 million subscribers and over 260 million views. Orgill answers the question, "What would happen if . . ." and performs exciting experiments. His videos have tutored kids digitally and one elementary school teacher told him that she shows his videos in class to help her teach students how to make scientific predictions.[1]

Orgill holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University. His professional research includes forest fire, biofuel, and oil shale research. He has worked for Rocky Mountain Composites, Reform Building Systems, and Intel.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
