Scott Christopher: Mormon Actor
Scott Christopher is an actor, host, speaker, comedian, and writer. He was born on January 13, 1967, in Ferndale, Michigan, and moved to Utah at the age of 11. He studied at Brigham Young University and won the Irene Ryan scholarship award at the Kennedy Center. He has appeared on the Disney Channel, CBS, Fox Kids, Lifetime, The WB, and has had roles in more than twenty movies. He appeared in The Best Two Years, Mobsters and Mormons, Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration, and most recently, a recurring character on Granite Flats.
He played “The Movie Guy,” the irreverent late-night host of long-running TV program on KJZZ TV in Salt Lake City. He was a morning radio personality in Salt Lake City and Monterey, California and has hosted several television shows. He also hosts corporate videos and has emceed a variety of live events, including conferences, pageants, and award ceremonies. Christopher is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Elizabeth, are the parents of five sons.
