Al Afalava

Al Afalava is a retired professional football safety. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. During that season, he started in 13 games. He was waived on September 4, 2010. The following November, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts and appeared in four games on special teams. He was waived on September 3, 2011.
On January 5, 2012, he signed with the Tennessee Titans. He played in 12 games with two starts, then was waived on August 31, 2013.
He was born on January 20, 1987, in Laie, Hawaii. He played college football at Oregon State. He and his wife, Jerrell, are the parents of four sons.
