Brian Nissen

Brian Nissen is a writer and voice actor. He is known for writing the screenplay for the hit-animated movie The Swan Princess (1994) as well as the numerous Swan Princess films that followed. He was also the narrator for the original film. He has voiced other characters in the series.

Nissen is also the screenwriter for Animated Hero Classics (1991) and The Scarecrow (2000). He wrote episodes of the Animated Stories from the New Testament (formerly known as The Living Scriptures).

He was born in 1953 in Denver, Colorado, and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
